AN exhibiton by local artist Julie Hollis is being held at Threave Gardens visitor centre from August 1 to 15.

Juile is exhibiting a “bouquet” of floral photographs, twelve in all, along with a selection of her ‘Castle Series’ paintings which depict derelict castles in Dumfries and Galloway. Originally from Brimingham, Julie has been in Dumfries and Galloway for 20 years and lives in Dumfries. She recently opened a small studio gallery in Irish Street, Dumfries called Cloud 9.

The exhibition runs daily from 10am to 5pm.
