SMITHERS Clifford, Hazel and the family of the late Percy Smithers would like to thank all relatives, friends, neighbours and former work colleagues for cards, letters and kind words of sympathy and support received. Thanks also to Rev Canon Nigel Newton for his support and kind ministrations, to Alex McCleary Funeral Directors for funeral arrangements and The Black Horse for handling the catering. Finally, our thanks to everybody who attended both the church service at "All Saints", Challoch and also at Roucan Loch, Dumfries and kindly donated to the retiral collection for the Merrick Practice (£307.90). -Chain Road, Creetown.
